Erebus

Once upon a time, in the distant lands of Albania near the border with Greece, a mysterious chain of events unfolded. It all began when two adventurous tourists stumbled upon a hidden cave along the rocky shores. Little did they know that this cave held the remains of a long-forgotten creature, according to local legend it was said to feed on the nightmares of others and was killed by a long forgotten greek hero. Fascinated by their find, the tourists took photographs of the strange skeletal remains to share with their loved ones back home.

However, fate had other plans for these curious souls. The roll of film containing the eerie images remained forgotten in a drawer for several years. It wasn’t until after their untimely demise that a loyal supporter of the evil Dr. Cube, a self-proclaimed avant-garde photo collage artist, stumbled upon the undeveloped film while clearing out the deceased man’s apartment. Intrigued by the mysterious photographs, he saw it as an important piece of evidence and decided to send it to the head of his local Dr. Cube Support Club.

But it seemed that fate had a sinister plan at play. Shortly after dropping the photos in the mail, the artist met a bizarre and untimely end, run over by an Ice Cream Truck of all things. The head of the Cube Support Club, eager to examine the photographs, cut his finger on the envelope while opening it and tragically succumbed to an infection just three days later. A dark pattern seemed to emerge from this sequence of grizzly events.

As word of the haunting photographs reached Dr. Cube, it was already too late. A total of 33 people had met their demise in inexplicable ways. Recognizing the uncanny sense of evil that seemed to surround the photographs, Dr. Cube, being an expert in chaos theory, resolved to investigate further. He sent his loyal follower, Hell Monkey, accompanied by a team of 33 minions, on an expedition to locate the elusive cave along the Albanian shores.

After weeks of scouring the shores of Albania and perhaps indulging in a bit too much local revelry, they finally stumbled upon the cave. However, the careless actions of the minions had dire consequences, causing the cave to collapse into the sea, taking all but Hell Monkey with it. Miraculously, Hell Monkey emerged unscathed, and to his amazement, he had also managed to secure a rib bone from the remains of the ancient creature.

Alas the DNA was incomplete, Dr. Cube, undeterred by the fragmented DNA found in the creature’s rib bone, was determined to clone the mysterious being. In his relentless pursuit, he sought a solution, and in a moment of brilliance, he ventured to the cupboard to retrieve DNA from a dog bone. But alas, the Cupboard was bare, and so, in a bold move, he used saliva from Elvis’ phone to fill in the missing pieces.

And thus, Erubus, a nightmare creature born from this amalgamation of strange circumstances, came into existence. The world held its breath as Dr. Cube unleashed Erubus, unsure of the consequences that might follow this dark and mysterious creation. Only time would tell what fate had in store for Erubus and those who dared to cross its path in the Kaiju Big Ring.
